With over 20 years of experience in food industry, Chef Dean An decided that he wanted to share his culinary knowledge and ideas in his own restaurant so, in 2008, Chef’s table was created. By combining his creativity and knowledge of fine cuisine, Chef’s Table delivered haute cuisine to the corporate crowd surrounding their first location and they instantly fell in love with the delicious menu and daily specials. We believe that there is nowhere else in the city that delivers a combination of the highest quality of food, presentation and atmosphere at affordable prices.All our dishes are made from the freshest ingredients. Chef Dean would never compromise his dishes with inferior products. It is our commitment that no one leaves our restaurants without feeling fully satisfied with their dining experience. Our chef’s inspired soups are made daily on site. Our daily, weekly and monthly specials are also made with the best available ingredients including organic products whenever available.We also pride ourselves on the catering services we provide to our growing clientele. The same dining experience provided to our walk in customers can be delivered to your business, home or any other location. Our catering menu includes a variety of items to meet the needs of our customers. Chef Dean can create an amazing menu to meet any cuisine or special dietary needs that are requested. To make a Canadian dream come true, in 1995, Soung (Dean) An made life’s greatest change by moving to Canada. Not only did he change his country but also his career. Canada allowed him to explore his passion of cooking and working in the food service industry. He began his career by looking for places and people who could help him develop his love for Asian and French cuisine. As his understanding of the food and service industry grew, Dean found that the vibrant and diverse cultures of Toronto allowed him to explore and learn the amazing tastes and flavours which have found their way into his ever expanding menu. Always tasting and experimenting with new flavours and techniques, Dean continues to offer new dishes to his clientele. Dean was fortunate to start his career with Toronto’s top rated restaurants, hotels and caters. He was exposed to food at its finest. In 2003, Dean competed in a Culinary Salon in Toronto where he won a gold medal and best presentation for his game dish.

In the 2004 Culinary Olympics in Erfurt Germany, as part of Culinary Team Ontario, Dean’s skill and hard work helped win the team a gold medal as well, the team placed as second best regional team. In 2008, he left his corporate world of cooking as a restaurant chef at Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre to expand his very first establishment restaurant and café in Mississauga called Chef’s Table. By 2012, he opened two other locations to meet higher demand orders from all over the GTA. He has also filled orders for customers as far as British Colombia and south of the boarder. Since the first dish was ever plated, “Never Say Never to Any Body”, has been his motivation to please each and every customer. That motivation and his love of cooking will take Chef’s Table to the next level. More locations and expanded catering will take his vision to all food lovers. Some might say his Canadian dream has come true, but Dean continues to pursue his journey to expand his vision.

Quinn began his culinary journey in his own kitchen on the Queen’s University campus. After achieving his Biomedical Computing degree at Queen’s he left to pursue his passion in the culinary arts. While studying at George Brown College for Culinary Management, he found an opportunity at a small and promising caterer and café in Mississauga called Chef’s Table. The rest is history. Now, more than 9 years have past and Quinn continues his positions as the Executive Sous Chef at Chef’s Table. He has seen the company develop, expand and go through many changes, all with the goal of being a top caterer amongst businesses and corporations. His drive for excellence, curiosity in all cuisines and passion for delicious, yet, simple foods will all contribute to propelling Chef’s Table to reach their aspirations.
